How do we get started?
Email Fire Medic Art your ideas and requirements. The more info you submit helps narrow down the best price for you. I will contact you through email or by phone with a quote on your project. If quote and time frame are satisfactory, I will send you an invoice for a deposit of 50% as a retainer to start the design process. This deposit is non refundable.

Once I receive your deposit I will start working on the project. In the initial pencil stage I will usually work up about 3 or 4 concepts to look at. I have noticed, with a lot of my clients, once I send the initial concepts the ideas start to flow and that’s when the project starts taking shape. Once Initial concept is approved I will then move on to the Ink and Computer stage. I do allow a few minor revisions at the computer stage. Major revisions will be subject to an hourly rate charge of $50.00.  After final approval, I will send an invoice for the remainder of the money that is owed on the project. Once the invoice is paid in full (cleared the bank via Check, paypal, or credit card) you will receive all files agreed upon during initial correspondence through email within 24 to 48 hours.

Failure to submit final payment within 5 days of notification of the project completion opens the art work up for alterations or sale to any paying customer.

How long does the process take? It depends on each individual project and how complex it might be. You also have to factor in the possibility of revisions and the time it will take to sketch out the initial concepts. Keep in mind your project is being hand drawn. This is not cut and paste Clip art. We are usually talking about 2 to 3 weeks. Also keep in mind as a career firefighter I work a 24 hour on and 48 hour off schedule.

In which formats can you provide the files?
JPG, TIFF, GIF, PSD, AI, EPS. I can work with you to determine the format best suited to your project.

Who owns the copyright for work Fire Medic Art does for me?
All artwork is Copyright Fire Medic Art unless terms have been agreed upon in writing prior to project launch.  Anything I do that is not used in your final design is property of Fire Medic Art

Fire Medic Art retains the right to display any completed design in my Fire Medic Art portfolio and/or any of my affiliates sites. A Non-Disclosure Agreement can be signed if confidentiality is a must for you.

Do you use clipart?
I only create original artwork for our customers. No Clipart.

Which payment methods do you accept?
